The definition of genderfluid when you google it is,"Gender fluidity refers to change over time in a person's gender expression or gender identity, or both. That change might be in expression, but not identity, or in identity, but not expression.
The way that I would explain a genderfluid person is very similar to the googled definition. I would say that a person who is genderfluid might decide that at one point they feel more like a girl and might prefer specific pronouns then a few minutes later they might feel more like a guy. They might be the same gender for a long time, but as a genderfluid person, I suggest that you ask their pronouns just in case they are a different gender at that time. Another suggestion is that you ask every so often (probably like ever 2 hours or so). Some genderfluid people get really mad for some reason if you don't ask for their gender at the moment is. Other genderfluid people just say that you can use any pronouns with them, sometimes they suggest that you don't say specific pronouns too much (for example lets say they don't want you to call them he/him too much).
